Intro to Tatreez and Waste Canvas Workshop
Join us and learn how to add Tatreez to clothing and/or accessories! Once you RSVP, please make a payment through Zelle to hala@yahalaseattle.com. ($45 adult/ $25 youth). This workshop covers the background, history, and cultural and political significance of Tatreez, then we will do an intro to tatreez basics, and teach you how to use waste canvas to add tatreez to clothing. We will provide materials including something to tatreez on, but feel free to bring your own piece of clothing to tatreez if you'd like!
